I'm at the library. I've been assigned to write a press release. Thankfully Baba was already at the house and I grabbed my Sidley thermos, poured in some LavAzza and got moving. I used to think I should toss this thing but in fact, it's good to keep around. It's like a scar, reminding me that the past was real. I'm here doing this work b/c I'm no longer there. For better or worse. Mostly better.
Ok so it's a little weird to be blogging when I should be studying but it's worth chronicling. After being let go 2 months ago, I've actually done a lot of work and writing, which is pretty cool. As of now I have not gotten paid for much of it so my patience is wearing thin but I'll take the work. I just don't want to chase people for the check.

I finally got confirmation that I have to accept a lower rate and will do some interviewing. I will approach this the way I did when I did Marketplace. I still do not have the name of the company.
It's getting a little frustrating.
I'm talking to AM, too. I have my new press releases books. I'm going to go invisible in order to get this. Atop it all, I am waiting to hear back from a posting from yesterday for digital copy editor. Also I am hoping against hope that JB likes the draft I sent him yesterday (b/c he did not want to write about atonement) b/c I took the initiativce.

Ok I have my assignment now and the company name. Let's do this.
